"MOOREFIELDS" RED ANGUS

MOOREFIELDS SWEETIE S7

Born:  28 August 1997

Sweetie S7 has had another calf on 26 June 2003.  His name is Moorefields Hendo Y3 and he is sired by Moorefields Jaguar V12 (full brother to Moorefields X-Ceed X10).  He didn't have the best of starts in this world either, he had to be pulled (in the paddock) on a freezing, cold day.  He is now a poddy calf and starting to thrive.

had a beautiful heifer calf on 11 January 2002.  We have named her "Moorefields Sweetie Pie X1" - what else?

Luckily Sweetie seems to be doing an excellent job at being a mum.

Sweetie was born a twin, her sister Moorefields Lollie S5 had a heifer calf in April 01 (sired by YY Red Knight), we named her Moorefields Red Lollie W2, she was Patrick's heifer at the 2002 All Breeds Heifer Show in Dubbo in April.

Moorefields Lollie S5 gave birth (Apr 5) to twin heifers herself.  We have called them Hundreds and Thousands.

This is day two of Sweetie's life, as you can see, she adapted to people from the outset.

She learnt very quickly that when it rained you should run back into the shed.

Sweetie owes her existence to the kindness and patience of our neighbours David and Daphne Croker, who cared for her from day one.   She came home and was weaned from her bottle in January of 1998.

At home now, and having one of her very last bottles - end January 1998.

chewing our clothes!

Sweetie is a very healthy 3 year old heifer, who loves to be patted and brushed.  She enjoys visits from children and loves to take Karen for a walk.
